WORDPRESS Allowing Subscriber Role User to Pick what notifications he/she wants to receive

I am quite new to the world of WordPress and unfortunately wasn't able to find any relevant information in the forums.

We are building the WordPress based local WIKI page for Our company. (Mby not the best solution but still)

There is certain thing I want to allow the 'Subscriber role' users to be able to do.

I would like to allow them to tag/favorite certain pages/posts. Once the pages are highlighted the system would send email notifications of these particular pages being updated.

I found numerous separate plugins for both of these actions. But none that would suffice the needs.

It would be great if you could suggest some plugin combinations or at least some direction where to get more information on this topic.
